Using Philips HUE with NOON

To incorporate fixtures and lamps with Philips Hue bulbs, you can link your NOON and Philips Hue accounts. Then add to NOON scenes to control from a Room Director or NOON App. 

Setting up Philips Hue

Before linking Philips Hue with NOON, set up your Hue bulbs in the Philips Hue app. If you haven't set up the smart bulbs in the Philips Hue app, follow the instructions found on the Philips Hue website.

Note: Smart bulbs are not compatible when installed on a fixture that is directly powered by a NOON switch.

Connecting your Philips Hue account with NOON

1. Open the NOON App and tap  in the upper left corner.
2. Tap Works With
3. Tap Philips Hue > Link Philips Hue Account.
4. Enter your Philips Hue account credentials to authorize and link to your NOON account.
5. When you return to the NOON App, you will see that your Philips Hue has been linked.

Adding Philips Hue bulbs to rooms

Once you've successfully linked Philips Hue to your NOON account, you can add your Hue bulbs to Rooms and Scenes.

Adding a bulb to a room:

1. From the Philps Hue menu in settings, Tap Add Philips Hue.
2. Select the room where you want to add a Philips Hue bulb.
3. Select the Hue bulb to add to the room.

The NOON experience with Philips Hue differs slightly from V1 to V2 of the Hue Hub. V2 of the Philips Hue hub supports grouping multiple bulbs into scenes and activating at the same time. 

Once added to the room you’ve chosen, your Philips Hue bulb will be listed in your scenes as one of your lights. Your Hue bulb must be in a scene with other activated lights. You can customize your Philips Hue bulb in each scene or add it to new scenes. Note: Philips Hue effects and colors can only be controlled from the Philips Hue app. NOON supports dimming and ON/OFF of Philips Hue bulbs.

Removing Philips Hue bulbs from a room

1. Open the NOON App and tap   in the upper left corner.
2. Tap Works With  
3. Choose the room the Hue bulb is assigned to.
4. Swipe left on the name of the Hue bulb > Remove

Removing Philips Hue from your NOON account

1. Open the NOON App and tap  in the upper left corner.
2. Tap Works With  
3. Tap the X next to Linked to Philips Hue. 
4. Confirm removal of Philips Hue from your NOON account.
