Using Valid Characters with Your NOON Account
NOON allows you modify your switch and scene names. However, there are character type requirements to adhere to.
The following characters are permitted when creating your NOON account, or renaming your switches and scenes.
- Uppercase [A-Z] and lowercase [a-z] English alphabet characters
- Digits 0-9
- Spaces (only for switch and scene names)
- Special characters: , . / - + = _ " ! ? $ # & * ( ) '
Scene and switch names have an 18 character limit; including spaces.
Avoid any of the following characters:
- Emojis
- Any accented or non-English alphabetic characters, such as: ü î ø å é etc.
- A leading space or trailing space
