Compatibility with 3rd-Party Light Switches and Wall Plates

If you need to install your NOON switches in the same switch box as other 3rd-party switches, using a NOON Wall Plate should still work. If you choose to use a 3rd-party wall plate, NOON switches have been designed to work in those situations as well. 

 

Using 3rd-party switches with a NOON Wall Plate

If you are not replacing every switch in a switch box with a NOON Room Director or a NOON Extension Switch, the NOON Wall Plate has been designed to work with many common 3rd-party switches. If you need to use longer screws, we recommend using 1-inch 6-32 truss head screws.

 

NOON Wall Plates work with:

• Popular rocker-style light switches.
• Multi-function switches that fit in a "decora" style opening.
• Outlets that fit in a "decora" style opening.

NOON Wall Plates DO NOT work with: 

• Toggle switches. 

Using a NOON Switch with 3rd-party Wall Plates

The NOON Base has been designed to work with many popular 3rd-party wall plates, including:

• Lutron Claro
• Leviton Decora (Plastic)
• Leviton Decora (Nylon)
