TitleUpdate My Router or Wi-Fi Credentials
Full Description

Due to the complex integration between your Savant system and your home/location's network, your Savant dealer needs to make adjustments whenever you switch internet providers, change your router, or update your Wi-Fi credentials.

Any changes made to your network before you involve your Savant dealer may impact your system's functionality.

If you do not know who your Savant dealer is, or you would like to contact a new dealer, submit a Find a Dealer webform so we can assist.

If you've already changed your Wi-Fi password or SSID (Wi-Fi name) but have not made any other changes to your network such as switching internet service providers or changing to a new router, Savant still strongly recommends contacting your Savant dealer to ensure the best system performance. However, it's possible to provision some of your Savant devices to the new Wi-Fi yourself:

Savant App

To connect your Savant app to the system over your new Wi-Fi network, simply ensure that the iOS or Android mobile device that you're running the Savant app on is connected to your Wi-Fi network using the updated credentials.

Savant X2 Remote

  1. From the main Home screen, swipe right to navigate to the Settings menu.
  2. Select Remote Settings.
  3. Select Wi-Fi Information.
  4. Choose the Configure Wi-Fi option to edit the network name (SSID) and password.

Savant Multistat Smart Thermostat (CLI-W200 / CLI-W210 / CLI-W220)

  1. From the main screen on the Thermostat, navigate to the Network menu.
  2. Select the first Change option from the list.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to add new Wi-Fi credentials.
