From time to time, updates may become available for your Savant system. These updates are applied as “Over-The-Air” or OTA, meaning that they will automatically occur as needed. In order to enhance the user experience, software updates will only be performed if the following conditions are met:
 

• Host is powered on and connected to the Internet
• All AV services are powered off
• All Remotes are cradled in the Remote Base (plugged in and powered on)
• Time of day is between 2am-5am locally 

If at anytime the system is unable to perform an update, it will attempt to apply the updates again when all conditions are met.
