Savant Power Storage USB Firmware Update Instructions

This document describes the procedure for updating firmware in a Savant Power Storage System using the Firmware v1.5.3 Update USB drive provided by Savant. 

 

  • These instructions apply to systems with a standard grid-connected input.
  • A grid connection is required because the inverter must be powered during the update process in order to successfully
    complete the BCMS firmware upgrade.
  • For off-grid systems that do not have a whole-home generator connected through an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) upstream of the Grid Combiner Panel, contact Savant Support for guidance
    before attempting a firmware update on off-grid installations.
